RUMERS OF A NEW DOLLAR WAITING IN THE WINGS TO REPLACE THE EXISTING FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES. BUY WHY?

The answer is that the existing Federal Reserve Note is destined to be greatly devalued.  Devaluation of nearly 100% is being planned.  When the existing dollar value drops to about 1 cent in purchasing power of the original silver certificate dollars of a few years ago,  a new dollar will be needed. Else a $100 bill will be needed to buy a soft drink out of a machine.

There may be bank closings, called a bank holiday, that may last for several weeks. Most purchases will not be possible, other than private exchanges. Credit cards and bank account will not be able to be used, as well as personal checks.

National ID cards will be issued, which will allow some limited purchases of foods and other goods at designated government stores, most likely Walmart Stores. You may be required to fill out identity forms, and take mandatory shots, and possibly even an implanted ID chip. Who knows what and how an when this will all happen, but the best bet is sooner than later.  Prepare by getting your essential food, water, fuel supplies as soon as you can. You may not be able to later, or the cost may be 10  times what it will cost you now.

A short period of time will allow conversion of existing into new dollars. The new dollar may equal 100 existing dollars or more.  When you turn in existing dollars, you may need to prove where you got them. A tax may be imposed, with the assumption that your dollars were from illegal or untaxed sources.  The new dollar may not have international acceptance at the beginning, due to the loss of confidence in the existing money values.  Some type of gold standard may be used to back up the new dollars so that they have better worldwide acceptance.

The US, Canada and Mexico have most of the worlds supply of silver, so silver could be used to back up the dollar, just as it was used until the silver and gold certificates were pulled from circulation. The value of gold and silver will have to go up dramatically by the time this happens.

The value of an oz of pure silver, like the US Silver Eagle may be in the hundreds of dollars, and the US Gold Eagle may be several thousands of dollars. Some say the value may be 10s of thousands of existing dollars, and thousands for the new devalued dollar.

 The US dollar is nearing a collapse. Certainly an ongoing devaluation caused by unlimited creation of new dollars has been going on for a long time. The exponential rise in dollars mean that inflation or devaluation of the dollar is going on. Governments and world bankers have been trying to hide this reality, by manipulation of world prices of commodities, especially oil, gold and silver. But that causes a temporary distortion in the prices, and when the stretched rubber band breaks, sudden large price changes in days or even minutes will occur. The trend for the dollar value is down, the trend for oil., gold and silver is up, and these trends will continue for the forseeable future. The cost of living will rise dramatically in the next  year or so.

How to you prepare for this? Most of us will have little ability, but there are a few things that will help the transistion from being so painful.

Store up some supplies of long term foods. Change a few dollars into gold and especially still affordable poor man's gold which is silver. A silver dollar once worth a dollar is now worth nearly $40.00 and is predicted to be worth $75 to $100 by the end of 2012. That is a 250% gain in a years time. Some think that since silver is used in industry that the supply will be so tight, that the price of silver may equal or even exceed that of gold. The price of gold is destined to rise to at least $3000 in 2012, and may go as high as $50.000 per ounce when fully equated to the worlds supply of dollars that are in print and in electonic digits on the banking systems computers. When the worlds debt is considered, there is not enough money in any form, paper or gold, to even pay the interest on the massive artificially created world credit swaps, bonds, mortgages, credit card balances, and IOUs and other forms of debt. The principal on the debt can never be repaid. We will see a world wide default on most debts. That means that any wealth that you think you have will dissapear overnight. The value of your savings in dollars in the bank, dollars in your possession, and the value of your IRA's and 401K's will be eroded. And the propped  up stock and bond market is ready for almost a complete collapse at any point in time.

Go to real assets like gold and silver, when you can. Paper gold and silver held in your stock funds are vulnerable, and may not hold up in a crisis. Short term there may be radical price rises in gold and silver ETFs and gold and silver mining stocks, but these will not hold up in a bankrupt world.

Try to take advantage of the fact that you can still buy gold and silver coins. Do not spend them yet, keep them for when the dollar  suddenly plunges in value by an estimated 50 to 90% in the next year or so.  Buy a few coins each month. A monthly investment of $150 will yield very great and needed protection against currency devaluation and inflation in the future.

The US government doesnt want us to buy gold. They have declared it illegal for us to use the Forex to buy and sell paper gold and silver on that market. But the real place to be is in physical metals anyway, so that is not a real problem for most of us, but is an indication of where the governments think the values of gold and silver will be going very soon. Will they resitrict sales of gold and silver coins also? Maybe ,but they already are doing that. There is a very limited supply of newly minted US silver and gold coins. It is getting more difficult for coin dealers to obtain supplies of new coins, and only with rising prices will older coins enter into the market, for you to purchase. But buy whatever you can, at a regular basis, without consideration of the price. The price has to continue up in terms of fiat paper currencies, and will help you preserve the purchasing power of your hard earned money.

The only good news about all of this is that the national governmental debts will be extinguished by dollar devaluation. The bad news is that our wages will not go up much in thise world economy, since we import cheap wages, and export only dollars.

UPDATE:  Israel is soon expected to act for the USA in a massive attack on Iran by September or later in 2011 or 2012. This will set off the Mid East in a blaze of religious wars.
